Maybe it was raining. Sometimes harvesters just don't feel like working. You can provoke it by trying to harvest two different crops at the same time, then you have to turn it off and on again for it to start working again. The same thing also happens on some weird terrain.
So far I have changed maps_fruitTypes.xml, I have added straw to pickup and forage harvester, but it doesn't work. Video Tutorials 4.0 for Farming Simulator 19
ok, so I've went through and changed the capacity of the JD600 series harvester up to 500k, and it works just fine, until i get to around 200k ish. then it almost becomes impossible to drive the harvester and continue the harvest. Anyone know how to increase the amount of weight it can support? Im using NotePad++ to open and edit the XML file. < > You'll just have to find a value that works with the machine you're using so that it's low enough to trigger a harvest but high enough to not get stuck. I've just done this fix to the Rostselmash 161 Harvester and it's worked, was getting stuck on the Felsbrunn Field 10.The tool height headers can be used on any in game or mod combine just like any other header, and works like any base header. R1 + square to turn on and R1+ circle to lower/raise. You can also sue the control to manually lower/raise the header to any height but I never have a problem so I just use the automatic lower.

Issue is when I use the harvester - it doesn't register the cotton entering the harvester. I get a full harvester, the loading bar shows

When you are sitting in a machine (complete one: e.g. the tractor must have the appropriate bits fitted), position yourself by the field where you want to start the working process and press the employment key.
