I also enjoyed playing PS2 Classics on it. Almost a year later, my system started to develop overheating issues. The fan would change speeds a lot while playing PS2 and PS3 content. After having that problem for a couple months, it would start to overheat after a couple of minutes of playing games. I put Arctic Silver 5 on the Cell and RSX in
On the PS3 however a lot of games do not work. Best thing to do imo, if you have both consoles connected at the same time and you don't have to switch cables all the time, is to play all supported games on PS3 and the ones that do not play, on the native PS2 console. Been using that configuration a long time now and it is the best. TnA likes this.- Յанαпጁго аψሸгօփазвո

I just got a PS2 game to play on my PS3 that i got secondhand but it says that it's not compatible - i have a slim version. I don't think my version can be jailbroken either (CECH 30A) - is there any way I can play physical PS2 games on this console or am i totally SOL?Best is 60GB version where you can buy larger HDD =) Some beatiful games (FF X is an example) can have problems with general PS3 (yeah, check on internet the compatibility list of PS2 games on PS3, and FF X with other games has 1/3and this includes all PS3 version) For Zeydlitz: maybe you're right, but I'll try it, because I saw that I've mcUTamU.
